Google Application Makes Car Drives Itself

From the beginning, many technologies are invented and developed to enhance many industries, like automobile industry. One giant internet company conducted a tremendous experience in order to bring new application that will bring more convenience to drivers. Google, makes its power become unbearable with its new discovery.

The new application’s name is Google Prediction API. It is a smart technology that comes with the ability to ‘remember’ its users’ habits. By finding a way to learn users’ habits, the application should be able to make the works easier by giving the best recommended products for the drivers.

Originally, the application was supposed to be fixed for online websites to help the effective product selling process get even better. Instead, Ford implemented this technology into its car industry. The popping up idea of injecting this Google application into vehicles is surely a challenging plan. With Google Prediction API in a car, the car will have its own ‘brain’ that allows it to improve its performance and bring comfort for its drivers.

On previous demonstration held during Google I/O conference in San Francisco, Ford tested this Google technology by applying it into Hybrid cars. How the technology works were just exactly like what they had designed for which is to identify drivers’ habits. This may come with purpose to make driving experience even more exciting.

There are cases shown in which the application can be used. As someone drives car to his work place, the car – with this Google application implemented – records the route and the distance he usually passes through right from where he lives to the office. The application memorizes this route into its ‘brain’.

After route recorded on its ‘brain’, the application offers the driver to take over the wheel. If he agrees, the car shall take him right through the destination automatically. This high technology can be a breakthrough in car industry.

Besides overwhelming the driver by driving him to the destination effortlessly, Google application helps to save gas. One of Ford’s technical expert stated that this application possess more powers which effectively can be applied on hybrid vehicles.

Specifically, hybrid car has two sources of power. The first is power generated from gas, whereas another one is generated from battery. Google application plays its own role in this part by giving recommendation to the driver to use gas when on toll road and switch automatically to electrical power source when it reaches the destination.
