A Project Proved 3D Motion Holographic Sent Very Life-Like Image than Today’s 3D TV

The popular 3D TVs have struck the market and many people enjoy watching through this TV. It represents more living pictures, especially with special glasses you put on. However, there is another discovery claims to have more abilities that regular flat 3D TV. It is called 3D motion holograms.

They are researchers at the University of Arizona that announced they have improved the fastest 3D motion hologram. This week, they have announced that this holographic display presents an image you can see from all sides and the greatest thing is that you don’t need to use any special glasses. The image is viewable.

This technology also focuses on the refresh rates as one image changing every few minutes. But, it is surprisingly found out that the rates have already been increased two a view changer every two seconds. During the research, the team was making use 16 cameras to create a 45-degree view of a 3D image.

An optical sciences professor and the leader of the research, Nasser Peyghambarian, stated that Holographic telepresence means they can record a three-dimensional image in one location and show it in another location, in real-time, anywhere in the world.

In fact, the making use of a new type of plastic on screen affects the hologram to refresh faster, the plastic shows chemical reaction to a laser shooting holographic pixels. Afterward, the image is stored on the screen and fades away after a couple of a minutes or seconds in more natural way, but it still depends on the parameters being used. The team stated the more camera are used for the experiment, the final holographic image becomes refined. It is obvious since every camera views the object from a different perspective.

Furthermore, the group of researchers who conduct the 3D holographic motion from University of Arizona utilized a 10-inch screen during the project, however the test also conducted over a 17-inch prototype that targets the way to show full color. Through the project, this group pointed out a landmark achievement they call full parallax.

Full parallax is the ability to see different perspective as you are moving your head either up and down, left or right. Surely, Peghyambarian added that this ability makes the image very life-like, especially with people are used to seeing things in 3D. Additionally, the full report from the project is said to be explained through journal Nature’s current issue.
