Apple’s iPad seems like going to be any users’ favorite gadget after it arrives to the market in nearer future. Since its first announcement on January 27, iPad is predicted to be huge and phenomenal. However, the popularity of iPad brings a fear to appear that iPad will defeat iPhone sales or at least put iPhone little bit lower. Even though it hasn’t been proved yet but this could be happened if iPad is in fact will be more popular than iPhone, the iPad’s sale may possibly eclipse the iPhone’s sales for the first three month.

According to Forbes, Apple is estimated to be able to sell at least 5 million iPad units this year by counting the sale of 1.2 million by June. This will be good news to Apple imagining the profit it will calculate even before the official release. If the calculation is true, iPad will run over the Kindle’s 3 million sold to date and take a dominating lead in the e-reader market. Thus, it seems that Apple will be getting closer to its victory.

Wall Street Journal quoted that the number of users who have been pre-ordered iPad units are estimated to reach hundreds of thousands at current estimation. This high demand can be possibly continuing until the official launch because many users’ expectations can keep increasing too.
On the other hand, the high demands and the great number of pre-ordered units cause Apple to push back new iPad pre-order shipping dates. It will be impossible as well for you to pick one up in-store. Well, it may be a little confusing knowing that the high demands should be great advantage for Apple, however Apple always has plans.

Furthermore, Digitimes reported on last March 3rd explaining the schedule to ship iPad with total 700.000 unit in late March is already fixed and the shipping of another million will be carried out on April. Certainly, with the total estimation of 240.000 pre-ordered units it seems that the launch is getting nearer.

Most users must expect April to come soon so they can have the gadget they have been curious about on their hands and perhaps proving the enhanced technology Apple has injected to it.
